Community Centre - Kakiri

Work on the community centre in Kakiri north of Kampala is almost complete. The Busiro North Development Foundation will manage the centre which will house a community radio station and a community hall. The radio station will broadcast through a main tower and three relays, enabling farmers throughout the region to hear the latest development news, commodity prices and so on. Many Ugandans from the district will be able to access health services based at the centre which is on the main road which cuts through Kakiri. In addition to health services, BNDF founder, Professor Gilbert Bukenya, will work with Humanitus to promote the Rural Diversification Program throughout the region.
